Muzeum Warmińskie w Lidzbarku Warmińskim

Lidzbark Warmiński, warmińsko-mazurskie

The museum is housed in a fourteenth-century Gothic castle in Lidzbark Warmiński, described as a gem of Gothic architecture in Poland. Visitors can explore the castle's undercroft along archaeological trails, and see Gothic art, arms and armour from the 14th to 20th centuries, and Polish painting of the 20th and 21st centuries. A separate exhibition recalls the orphanage that occupied the castle from 1859 to 1932.
