Muzeum Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego

Wrocław, dolnośląskie

Set in the university's main building on the Odra riverbank, this museum is as much about the interiors as the exhibits. You can see the Baroque Leopoldina Hall, with illusionist wall paintings by Johann Christoph Handke and sculptural decoration, and the Oratorium Marianum, a former monastic chapel from 1728–1741 later used as a concert hall. The Mathematical Tower, fitted out in 1791, is also part of the visit. Temporary archaeology shows run at the House of Archaeologists branch.
