Muzeum Ślężańskie im. Stanisława Dunajewskiego w Sobótce

Sobótka, dolnośląskie

Below Mount Ślęża, this museum sits in the Abbot's House of 1568, a former hospital built by Augustinian canons. One permanent exhibition explores the old beliefs and spiritual culture of Ślęża as a place of cult; another covers the geology, wildlife and plants of the massif. Next to the building, an open-air lapidary holds architectural fragments and sculpture from churches in Sobótka and nearby. A gallery hosts art shows.
