Muzeum Regionalne w Oleśnie

Set in a baroque townhouse from the 18th century, this museum is named after the poet Jan Nikodem Jaroń. It has an archaeological display of finds from the Olesno area and a history exhibition on the town and notable people tied to it, including Józef Lompa. A forestry and hunting room shows hunting trophies and local wildlife. Entry is free; it is open on weekdays and on the second Sunday of the month.
