A wooden cottage from 1780, the oldest building in Kolonowskie, stands on Leśna Street. It once stood by the town's ironworks and held the manager's home and offices. Inside are documents, ironworking tools and equipment, household and farm items and old school textbooks, while farm machinery is shown in a separate pavilion.
