Muzeum Regionalne PTTK w Olkuszu

Olkusz, małopolskie

A 16th-century townhouse on Olkusz's main square, known as Batorówka, is said by legend to have hosted King Stephen Báthory. It now houses a regional museum whose roots go back to 1911, named after the mining engineer Antoni Minkiewicz. The building itself, right in the town centre, is part of the reason to visit.
