Muzeum Pogranicza Śląsko-Łużyckiego w Żarach

Żary, lubuskie

The museum in Żary tells the story of the town and its surroundings through archaeological finds and local industry: brown coal mining, glass and porcelain making, and brewing. The collection also holds many postcards, maps and town plans. It was created in 2013 from an earlier city exhibition room, though museum traditions in Żary go back to a display of 1888.
