Muzeum Kanału „Dętka”

Katedralna, łódzkie

A short descent takes you beneath Freedom Square into a ring-shaped water tank built in 1926, once used to flush the sewers of central Łódź. It is 142 metres long, low and narrow. Inside, objects, documents and old photographs tell how the city's sewage and water supply networks were built. The exhibition opened in 2008.
