Muzeum im. Orła Białego

Set in the former Rejów ironworks buildings from 1836–1838, this museum also has almost two hectares of open-air displays, mostly military hardware. Indoors you will find exhibitions on twentieth-century arms and uniforms, on the town and its people, and on the Polish Army on the Second World War fronts, shown in miniature. Other themes include the September 1939 campaign, partisans in the Kielce region and the wartime fate of local residents. Skarżysko has a long history of making ammunition and weapons, and that thread runs through the visit.
