Muzeum Ikon w Warszawie

Warszawa, mazowieckie

Icons fill a former boiler house in Warsaw's Ochota district, converted into a museum that opened in 2011. At its heart is an Orthodox chapel of St Gregory with an iconostasis, icons by Grzegorz Zinkiewicz and works from the Iconography Studio in Bielsk Podlaski. Reproductions of Jerzy Nowosielski's frescoes are also on show. It was the first museum of its kind in Warsaw.
