Muzeum Gminne w Biszczy

Biszcza, lubelskie

A small military collection in Biszcza, housed in the village cultural centre. It holds weapons and uniforms of the Polish Army from the September 1939 campaign, along with arms used by partisan units: Russian, German, French, British and American. The collection was assembled by Antoni Kurowski, a Home Army soldier. A highlight is a heavy Browning machine gun found near Momoty Górne, where a partisan group once laid down its arms.
