Muzeum Fauny i Flory Morskiej i Śródlądowej w Jaworzu

Jaworze, śląskie

The museum began with preserved marine animals and plants from around the world, donated to the village school in Jaworze in the 1960s by Erwin Pasterny, a boatswain in the Polish merchant fleet. Today the collection of sea and freshwater fauna and flora has its own building, finished in 2014, next to the school where it was first shown. The building's design echoes the exhibition's theme.
