Museumshof Bad Oeynhausen

Bad Oeynhausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen

This farmstead shows how a typical farm of the Minden-Ravensberg region looked in the pre-industrial 19th century. The main house is a Low German hall house from 1739, joined by several other buildings, and a water mill with two millponds stands nearby on the Osterbach in the Siekertal. Volunteers demonstrate crafts such as flax and wool spinning, basket weaving, bobbin lace and quilting, and keep Low German alive.
