Museum zur Vorgeschichte des Films
Mülheim an der Ruhr, Nordrhein-Westfalen
How did pictures learn to move before cinema existed? This permanent exhibition in Broich's 1904 water tower traces the prehistory of moving images. The tower also holds the world's largest walk-in camera obscura, installed in 1992 for the regional garden show. It is part of the Industrial Heritage Trail.
