Aquarius-Wassermuseum

Mülheim an der Ruhr, Nordrhein-Westfalen

A disused 50-metre water tower in the Styrum district houses this museum devoted to water. August Thyssen had it built in 1892/93 to supply his tube and rolling mills and the village; after it went out of service in 1982 it was converted into a museum by 1992. The listed tower is a stop on the Route of Industrial Heritage.
