Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte

Saarbrücken, Saarland

This is the place to start if you want to know how people lived in the Saarland thousands of years ago. The archaeological collection spreads over about 2,000 square metres and follows human culture from the Stone Age through the Bronze and Iron Ages. It occupies a former district assembly building on Schlossplatz, where every floor has been used for the displays since its renovation.
