Museum für Konkrete Kunst

Ingolstadt, Bayern

Concrete art from its beginnings to the present, along with 20th and 21st-century design that is often closely tied to it: that is what this museum offers across about 800 square metres. Since 1992 it has occupied a former 18th-century barracks, whose conversion by the Munich architects Claus and Forster won the BDA Prize for Bavaria in 1993. A foundation attached to the museum preserves the estates of important concrete artists.
