Housed in the old administrative building of the salt works, this museum covers salt production, saltworks history and forestry. It shows the work in the saltworks and boiling house, including a piece of the wooden pipeline that carried brine 40 kilometres from Hallstatt to Ebensee. An upper floor deals with migration.
