Museum Amtspforte Stadthagen

Stadthagen, Niedersachsen

Housed in a timber-framed building from 1553, originally built as an administrative office and now a landmark of Stadthagen, this town museum tells the story of the town and its surrounding region across two floors. It stands right beside the Weser Renaissance castle and its park, at the start of the pedestrian zone, so it fits easily into a walk through the old town. Admission is free.
