Since the 1950s this museum has occupied the former archbishop's château on náměstí Míru in Týn nad Vltavou. Its exhibitions cover local history, the town's puppet-making tradition and the rafting trade on the Vltava. A further theme is the origin and occurrence of South Bohemian moldavites.
