MehlWelten Museum

Wittenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

More than 4,000 flour sacks from 150 countries on every continent make up the collection here, which the museum describes as the only one of its kind. The permanent exhibition looks at flour as a staple food and its place in cultural history. In the foyer hangs an artist-reworked flour sack from Dubai, the object that started the idea for the museum.
