The grinding trade still works here: Manuelskotten is the only water-powered grinding mill in Wuppertal that still runs. The restored, listed site serves as an industrial museum and demonstrates how grinding was done in the past. Machine knives for the food industry are still sharpened here today, so the craft is more than a display.
