Mansfeld-Museum
Hettstedt, Sachsen-Anhalt
The copper-slate mining of the Mansfeld region is the subject here, shown in Burgörner manor house, which preserves a keep from a late Gothic moated castle. The estate once belonged to the Humboldt family, and one section tells the story of the estate and its well-known owners. The museum opened in 1989 as the company museum of the Mansfeld combine.
