LVR-Industriemuseum

This museum is spread over six former industrial sites across the Rhineland: a zinc factory in Oberhausen, the Cromford cotton mill in Ratingen, the Hendrichs drop forge in Solingen, the Alte Dombach paper mill in Bergisch Gladbach, the Ermen & Engels power station in Engelskirchen and the Müller cloth factory in Euskirchen. The old factory buildings are the main exhibits, showing how people worked and what they made. Cromford in Ratingen, named after the English mill of the same name, was the first factory of its kind on the European continent.
