Lokwelt Freilassing

Freilassing, Bayern

On the grounds of a former locomotive depot, built in 1902–1905 on the Munich–Salzburg line, the museum shows part of the Deutsches Museum's railway collection. The protected site includes a 20-stall roundhouse with turntable, its own power station and workshops. Railway fans see the locomotives in the setting they were built for.
