Literaturarchiv Sulzbach-Rosenberg

Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Bayern

Everything here revolves around German-language literature since 1945. Housed in the old district court building, it is at once an archive, a literary centre and a museum. Its core is the editorial correspondence of the journal Akzente, joined by the papers of Walter Höllerer and a Günter Grass collection that includes the only surviving early version of The Tin Drum. A permanent exhibition covers post-1945 literature.
