Leprosenhaus (Bad Wurzach)

Bad Wurzach, Baden-Württemberg

First mentioned in records in 1355, this house served as a refuge for people with leprosy and today stands as a monument to social and medical history. The Leprosy Chapel next door was a Protestant church from 1871 to 1959. Some rooms house the Sepp Mahler Museum, as the painter was born here. A herb garden completes the ensemble on the edge of Bad Wurzach.
