Künstlerhaus Bregenz
Bregenz, Vorarlberg
Contemporary art is shown in a listed town palace in Bregenz, converted for exhibitions in 1983/84. The house comes with a garden of some 6,700 square metres, laid out as an arboretum of exotic trees after 1887 for Prince Gustav of Thurn and Taxis. It has been a protected monument since 1929 and is well worth a stroll before or after the art.
