Kobbermolle Museum
Harrislee, Schleswig-Holstein
In the tunnel valley of the Krusau, close to the Flensburg Fjord, the old halls of a copper and brass works now tell the story of the region's industry. The place grew up around a water-wheel-driven hammer mill built over 400 years ago. You can also walk through the historic settlement, which includes one of the oldest workers' housing estates in Northern Europe.
