Crusauer Kupfer- und Messingfabrik

Harrislee, Schleswig-Holstein

On the grounds of the old copper mill near Flensburg, much of the factory complex has survived. Three fully restored historic industrial halls now house an industry museum telling the works' story. King Christian IV had a water-powered hammer works built on the little River Krusau around 1600, and the oldest known document dates from 1633.
