Klimaerlebniswelt Oerlinghausen

This interactive exhibition traces climate change from the last Ice Age to the present across three rooms and about 600 square metres. Multi-screen walls and simulations let visitors experience rain, heat, cold and storms for themselves. The building is made of ecological materials such as wood and clay, and its black facade was charred using the Japanese yakisugi technique.
