Children are meant to touch and try things out here. The children's and youth museum, housed in a listed building, presents historical, intercultural and science themes through learning by doing. The second floor holds an environmental learning station called Schatzkammer Erde (Treasure Chamber Earth). The house grew out of the Museum im Koffer, which has toured in two buses since 1980, starting with Great-Grandmother's Washday.
