Karasek-Museum

Seifhennersdorf, Sachsen

This museum tells of robbers, smugglers and poachers, above all the robber captain Karasek. It also covers the Bohemian enclave of Niederleutersdorf (1635 to 1849) and the hard lives of the linen weavers. You will see farmhouse, bedroom and weaver's rooms furnished as around 1800 in an Upper Lusatian half-timbered house, plus a cross-vaulted hall.
