Heimatmuseum Brunsbüttel

Brunsbüttel, Schleswig-Holstein

Set among about a dozen listed houses of Brunsbüttel-Ort's 17th-century village centre, this local museum tells the story of the lock town. You see how people lived and worked, the tools and instruments they used, and how an old classroom was furnished. Afterwards, visit the Jakobus church of 1678, a piece of Dithmarschen late Baroque, and the tree-shaded grounds around it.
