Jüdisches Museum Creglingen
Creglingen, Baden-Württemberg
The permanent exhibition, Roots and Paths, presents Jewish history in Creglingen and its district of Archshofen, following the journeys and fates of Jews from the Tauber region who were driven from their homeland. The house on Badgasse was a Jewish family home from 1618 to 1879 and housed the community's prayer room before 1800. Its last Jewish owner, the cattle dealer Hermann Stern, became in 1933 the first Württemberg victim of Nazi antisemitism.
