Seven late medieval buildings stand around a courtyard in Ravensburg's upper town, among them tower houses with roots in the 12th and 13th centuries. The patrician Humpis family lived at Marktstraße 45, and several Gothic rooms survive. The museum here presents Ravensburg's cultural and urban history.
