Hornické muzeum

Planá, Plzeňský kraj

A museum inside the 16th-century exploratory adit Ondřej Šlik, driven in search of silver beneath Planá's historic core. The underground route runs just under 200 metres and shows centuries of mining for silver, copper, lead and uranium ore, with tools and machines from the Middle Ages to today. There is also a separate exhibition hall above ground.
