Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov

This open-air archaeological museum brings everyday medieval life from the 8th/9th to the 14th century to life. On almost 11 hectares you can walk through more than 30 buildings reconstructed with authentic materials and techniques: an early medieval village, a motte-and-bailey castle with an 11th-century stave church, and a high medieval farmstead with town houses. The park spans the border from Bärnau into Tachov in Czechia.
