Historisch-Technisches Museum Peenemünde

Peenemünde, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

On the grounds of Peenemünde's former power station, at the northern end of the island of Usedom, this museum follows the rockets and missiles developed here between 1936 and 1945. It tells the story of the army research centre and the Luftwaffe test site that worked on this coast. The exhibition is housed in the old observation bunker and the power station buildings, so you see the history where it actually happened. The site is also part of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
