Heimatstube Bredenbeck
Wennigsen, Niedersachsen
Set in the former teacher's flat of an 1886 village school, this local museum traces how Bredenbeck developed, with many pictures, village craft tools and glassware from the factory that ran in Steinkrug until 1928. Coal, lime burning and sandstone quarries also shaped the area. One section covers Adolph Freiherr Knigge, the writer born here in 1752.
