Heimatmuseum Römstedthaus

Four historic buildings make up this local-history museum in Bergen: the main house from the early 19th century, a tithe barn and two storehouses. The collections cover rural life up to around 1900, with exhibits on home furnishings, farming and crafts. The teacher and local historian Friedrich Römstedt began it by gathering everyday objects, furniture and tools. The farmstead itself is recorded as far back as 1438.
