Heimatmuseum Dermbach

The museum of the Thuringian Rhön fills two floors of an 18th-century timber-framed house beside Dermbach's church. It covers the history of the local district, the Peasants' War in the Vorderrhön and cork processing, a Dermbach speciality. Other topics include the narrow-gauge Feldabahn railway of 1880, the legendary robber Rhönpaulus, and traditional crafts such as weaving and carving.
