Heimatmuseum Aschen

On a site of about 8,000 square metres in the village of Aschen, this open-air museum shows how country people once lived and worked. The buildings include a storehouse from 1741, an 18th-century village forge, a carpenter's workshop from 1893, a sheepfold from 1791, a tenant farmer's house, a barn and a village school. Farm machinery, furniture, tools and household items are shown inside and out.
