Heimatkundliches Museum Sankt Gilgen
St. Gilgen, Salzburg
The local history museum of St. Gilgen occupies the old barn of the former Wetzl farm and its adjoining side-hall house. The barn is documented as early as 1652, and the house has an upper floor of timber log construction with balconies, its beams dated 1655, 1668 and 1770. The protected building is itself a piece of local history.
