Haus der Geschichte

Bonn, Nordrhein-Westfalen

The permanent exhibition here follows how Germany has changed since 1945, from the postwar years to the present day. The museum stands on Bonn's Museum Mile and also keeps a collection of over 75,000 political cartoons. It looks after the nearby Chancellor's Bungalow, once home to several chancellors, which has its own exhibition on the building's history. Admission is free.
