Harry’s klingendes Museum
Schwarmstedt, Niedersachsen
Barrel organs, orchestrions, cylinder and disc music boxes, doll automata and reproducing pianos fill three rooms of a private house. Around 90 mechanical instruments from the 18th to 20th centuries are on show, all in playing order and demonstrated on a guided visit. The owner has been collecting and restoring them since about 1980. Entry is free, by prior booking.
