Geschichtsmuseum der Stadt Lüdenscheid

Town and regional history fills an old district office building, joined to a neighbouring villa by a glass extension. Exhibits include a historic narrow-gauge train, a steam generator, Zeppelin models and fire-fighting equipment. Buttons from the Bronze Age onward recall Lüdenscheid's days as a button town, and there are old maps of the County of Mark and a council chamber with Art Nouveau fittings.
