Georg Breusing
Emden, Niedersachsen
Launched in 1963 by the Abeking & Rasmussen yard in Lemwerder, the Georg Breusing served as a sea rescue cruiser for the German maritime rescue society. The 26-metre vessel is named after the Emden customs inspector who founded East Frisia's first rescue association in 1861. It now lies on the Georg-Breusing-Promenade in Emden.
