Freilichtmuseum Klockenhagen

Ribnitz-Damgarten, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

A village within a village: across six hectares, this open-air museum shows how country people lived in Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania over the last three centuries. Historic buildings from 18 villages have been moved here and restored, and they hold exhibition rooms. There are also planted gardens and farm animals. The village shop displays East German goods sold up to 1990.
