Aircraft from the working life of Willy Messerschmitt fill this museum in Manching. A permanent exhibition follows the career of the aircraft designer, and numerous machines from different periods of his work are on show, some of them still airworthy. It opened in 1998, on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
